05 and 04 and 03 tryouts will be held at the Johnson Arena at PIngree High School on:

February 27th at 8:00 p.m.

March  6th at 8:00 p.m.

Try outs are free. Our program is not about making money.  Waiver and contact information will be collected at the door.

In advance of Tryout we would love to have your player attend a practice or two.  Attending a practice is a great way for us to evaluate your player and for you to evaluate our program.  Practice schedule can be found on the home page master schedule.   Please contact coach or Bill Heney in advance.  Contact information is below.

Our home rinks are Governors Academy, Pingree and Endicott College.  Example of schedule can be found by reviewing this years Bantam 03 schedule on the home page.

We are accepting applications for Head and Assistant Coaching positions at several levels. If you are a good coach please contact Bill Heney.

For the 2018 - 2019 we will continue to play in the Premier Hockey League of New England after a very successful first two seasons. www.thenephl.com.  Bantams 04/05 will play in the Elite Division.   The League format is 30 League games. 15 home/15 away starting in last September and completed the first week in March. For comparison purposes our teams played approximately 30 games this year including tournaments and 18 games were home games. A few more games and travel.  Bantam hockey is a transition to High School Hockey and we do a great job prepping your player for High School.

Thanks for considering the NS Hawks. We want your player to practice and improve. We will have great practices. The PHL provides us League recognition and competition that will challenge our players. You know our philosophy- we are not about building the best team and winning a bunch of youth hockey games. We want to teach young athletes and develop athletes that can compete at the HS level and beyond. Rick and I started in 2008 and we have several players playing Varsity and JV at Hamilton/Wenham, Essex Tech, Rockport Danvers, Masco, Pentucket,  Taft, Governor's Academy, Pingree, SJP and Cardigan Mountain.
